Dipotassium phosphate is an inorganic potassium phosphate used as a pH regulator or mineral source; it is highly soluble and absorbed quickly. Typical levels are legal for healthy pets, but cats and dogs with chronic kidney disease (CKD) should choose low-phosphorus diets and watch for multiple phosphates adding up on the label.
