Yellow 6
An artificial orange-yellow dye (Sunset Yellow). EFSA found no evidence of carcinogenicity or genotoxicity; the EU requires human foods containing it to carry a warning that it "may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children." Colors offer no nutritional benefit to pets, so dyes are unnecessary additives.
Other common names: Sunset Yellow FCF, FD&C Yellow No. 6, 食用黃色6號, サンセットイエロー
